Celebrating the Year of Welcome – Sunday 14 June to Saturday 20 June

The Graham F Smith Peace Foundation has annually participated in the Refugee Week program organised by the Australian Migrant Resource Centre. But of course this year’s program has been cancelled due to COVID 19 restrictions.

Nevertheless, we ask you to take time to reflect on refugees and the many hardships they have endured and the contribution they have made to our community. To this end we ask you to participate in the online events organised by the Refugee Council of Australia. Have a look at the official events calendar, which starts with the launch on Sunday, On ‘Welcome’: Migration, First Nations and Refugee Communities.
