Kaurna meyunna, Kaurna yerta tampendi: Walking Trail
The Kaurna Walking Trail Booklet (Pictured Right) is is a collaboration between local Kaurna people, the Graham F Smith Peace Foundation and the Department for Education and Childrens’ Services. The Trail aims to give an insight into the Kaurna People, the traditional owners and custodians of the Adelaide Plains. The trail invites reflection on Kaurna life before European settlement and explore the impact of this settlement on Aboriginal people.
The first 17 sites can be viewed in a 2-3 hour walk beginning at the Reconciliation Sculpture outside the King William Street entrance to the Adelaide Festival Centre.
